Title: PCV Question
Post by: RedED30 on October 15, 2013, 07:21:58 pm
Evening all.

I've used the search function, but no help.

PCV - Why do people remove it? is it just to minimise boost leaks?

Also remove/delete totally, or revamp as there is options for both.

Thanks

Dan

I replaced mine with the latest revision from vw, just before i got stage 1 remap as i had read it can cause boost leaks

Also a friends was on it's way out on his Seat, when sitting idle his engine kept revving up then dropping off, so i thought best to just replace it in case

It's a cheap fix so get it done. I had mine done recently. It was causing the car to rev by itself and then drop off.
