Nice!
I'd love to have a DSLR to be able to mess around. It's amazing what you can do with the light and a long exposure :) I like the one where you wrote Golf haha.

Here's one my friend SLEEDS did of mine..

(https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Ffbcdn-sphotos-b-a.akamaihd.net%2Fhphotos-ak-prn2%2F1277703_10152326410044782_1649763902_o.jpg&hash=4317bd2319292339745d6fc3cc6333e5794d5973)

And one from the uk-mkivs Mega meet a buddy of mine took

(https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Ffarm6.staticflickr.com%2F5532%2F9493793070_07d8608d08_c.jpg&hash=1f8c8f7b098cb4c3fd739ae060ab6d8eeef9c133)

(It was literally pitch black middle of the night in a field in the middle of nowhere, used a light in a tube!)

What do you mean by light in a tube, can you explain please? Sorry not too good with cameras but my girlfriend just got me a nice one for my birthday and want to use it too it's full potential

You have a like 1 minute exposure time and put a light or a torch in a device (eg a pringle tube cut in half) to direct light only in one direction. You can then light up your subjects while keeping the foreground and background relatively dark.

Hence why you can see a prominent black line where the light was kept from bouncing back. The main thing here is you have to be very careful to not let any light "stray" as in when you're moving across frame, you cannot point the light at the camera or the effect will be lost and it'll look like a flare's gone off.

Also an important point is to take eat all the pringles out of the tube before you start this process. And remember once you poppem! you cant stoppem!.  :innocent:
