Title: Top End Passat

Guys,

Saw a 2013 model Passat estate earlier with dual pipes like the previous shape .:R36 Passat used to have, same layout as the current mk7 Golf GTI exhaust.

It was debadged so what engine is it? I assumed some kind of v6 but can't find anything about a bigger engine on the net :S It had an elite look about it so I'm assuming it's a top of the engine range?

I followed a Skoda Superb with 4 tail pipes through Snowdonia the other week (3.6 I think), he was going well, but don't think he had full confidence in his chassis or I was much quicker on the bends, I was giving him some room but still pulling on him with relative ease.. he was doing about 120 on the straights. KMH of course :evilgrin:

Na, too new and too standard.

Can't find any details on it but it had the look and setup cosmetics of a 3.0TDI with Haldex but don't think they do those on the new Passat?  :confused:
If it was a 2.0 TSI with the MK7 GTI engine then it looked smart, but I've no real clues either way...

It'll be an Alltrak version Pete, comes with a dual pipe exhaust either side like the mk6/7 gti on account of the Haldex diff etc  :happy2:

And they do a TSI with 4motion, cool. Literally couldn't find any on ebay last time I looked for over £30k, mystery solved!

Smart looking family bus and if that tsi one has the new gen 2.0 motor it'll be quite a Q car imo  :happy2:

I know mate, I meant it wouldnt have been a Milltek. Pipes were too small  :wink:
