I'll probably get an ED30 splitter at some point.. I'm thinking it'll help my car from looking like a tractor, as the coils are all the way down.
I'm wondering if anyone has any pictures of a MK5 before installing the splitter and after, so I can see the difference in floor gap?
Thanks :popcornsoda:

Trying to help, but, Won't it be Easier just comparing the front end of an ed30 to the front end of the gti... Or am I missing the point here? Haha

Haha I guess so, but aren't ED30s slightly lower than GTIs?

Im not sure if they are lower... but by looking at pictures you cant be 100% sure how low the car will be to the ground.
If your standard height then you will have no problems with clearance :happy2:

The car is lowered, but it's not as low on the front as I'd want, so I was wondering if the splitter would give me much less of a floor gap :sad1:
Obviously it will, since I've only got a GT splitter ATM, I'm just curious as to how much it'll solve my problem..
I'd upload some pictures if my iPhone wasn't deaaaaad as usual. :signLOL:
thanks

Edition 30 splitters do seem to be noticeably lower than GTI's. I have Eibach Sportlines on me Edition 30 and although I clear speed bumps, I have to be careful when parking in spaces with forward facing kerbs. My Friend has a GTI and when we park next to each other it looks like you could walk underneath it in comparison. I cant help you out with any photos though.

Look on my build thread buddy
I have pictures before I had ed30 splitter and with :happy2:

Ah I've found it, looks quite a bit deeper than standard
I got some FK springs on the front now, so it's gone a fair bit lower, about 23.5" from the arch to the ground.
So judging from your pictues, I'd say an ED30 splitter, and I'll be reasonably happy with the floor gap :drinking:
