Title: Value of brand new boxed monza 2's
Post by: holty on September 08, 2009, 11:43:10 am: Completely forgot I had these in the garage - 2 brand new boxed Monza 2 alloys. Decided that I am now gonna sell them, just wondering how much they are worth - I have seen lots of used monza's around, but not so many brand new boxed ones (used to come up occasionally on ebay).

Anyone advice on what they are worth?

EDIT: Same price from the stealer whether BBS or Ronal.

Post by: snapey on September 08, 2009, 04:29:30 pm: Have a look on the back of the wheel to see if their stamped bbs or ronal. Also if there's a raised lip around the valve thier bbs.

both wheels have different part numbers:

BBS RD271 - 1K0 601 025 AH
BBS RD305 - 1K0 601 025 AM

Both boxed in white vw boxes with part numbers on.

Any ideas why the part numbers are different? maybe one is earlier than the other??

I purchase an 18" Monza 2 that had been refurbed but done not done right for Â£100. Plus then refurb cost of Â£80 your close to Â£200. For a brand new one i dont think Â£200 to Â£250 is out of the question. As a guess from recent E-bay prices - Â£100 - Â£140 each if brand new.

E-bay alloys seem to have dropped a lot in price over the 6 last months
