This may be a very daft question but are all the shelfs in the mk5's the same colour??  As im on the hunt for one for my motor as it never came with one..

So what colour should I be looking at with standard gti cloth trim?  Dark grey?

Arghhh.. I almost coughed up a lung and I'm sure I need one of those.

@OP, mine's a dark grey with standard cloth in 2005, same as the headlining... grab an ebay item and save the rest for a forum donation. :jumping:

Not sure on your colour but this is what's listed

FOR CHASSIS NUMBERS >> 1K6-080 000


They list colours as

Anthracite - HH2

Pure Beige - 3BG

Artgrey - 2BD

Haha, I choked when the dealer said the price, eBay seems to be the place although there is a parts place I've found which looks reasonable.  Always the 'small' things which seem to be the biggest pain to find!!!
