Title: Armrest retrofit
Post by: alexoc on October 27, 2013, 11:35:02 am
I have an edition30 which came from the factory without an armrest.
I want to retrofit one and have found one for sale here on the forum, but what I want to know is will the colour be correct.
Is the grey/black colour leather in the standard Gti the same colour as the leather trim in the edition30?

Many thanks guys.
Alex

Didnt want to start a new thread but just retrofitted an armrest with new leather gaiter lid. Anyone know where I can get hold of a blank plate for where the aux in usually goes? I have the aux in port but its not connected so thought it'd look cleaner with a blank plate. Ive seen them about but just cant seem to find out where to get one! Would anyone be kind enough to point me in the right direction???

Get a cupholder, much more fancy  had the same one with my armrest (was delivered without a cover). Just bought a  :drinking:-holder at VW.

He means the small blanking plate that is on the front of the armrest cover - not the rear storage compartment.

Dealer should be able to get one for you - or just buy an aux in plug to fill the hole - normally some on eBay
