Has any one priced up a set of genuine R32 side skirts recently.. Just wondering what the current prices are..?
Or GTI ones for that matter...
After colour coding some to match the car, but want to keep the plain plastic stuff for when I come to sell the car.
-
I bought GTI skirts back in august from TPS. No trade account so paid full price of £38ish each. :happy2:
-
Not a bad price at all...
Did you get the fitting kit or just the skirts..?
-
£38 each? Thats bloody good! I thought these were closer too 60 each!

If you already have the GTI with side skirts then you will already have all the fixing kit on your car.
Just looked up my invoice.
Sideskirts were £38.03 excluding VAT so make that £45.63 each
Fixing adaptors were £4.40 excl VAT so £5.25 each (you need 4 off)
Fixing Screws were £0.33 each ex VAT = £0.40 each (you need at least 4 of these also)

The primed r32/ed30 side skirts retail at £283 per side side inc VAT and that was June last year that price.
-
How can R32/Edtion ones be nearly £500 more than standard ones!!
-
Apparently they never used I be but VW clocked on to people upgrading and bumped the price up apparently
-
You could buy GTI ones get them booked in for smoothing and pain for far less than that price could you not?
-
That's day light robbery for the ed30/r32 skirts..!!
Does any one have a part number for the.
LEFT GTI SKIRT
RIGHT GTI SKIRT

Primed parts are much more expensive. For example a primed door rub strip is more expensive than a full gti side skirt.
