Looks like mine is giving up, its had 8 years of daily use. So cant complain too much.
So on to my question for all you knowledgable peeps, which is the latest/best revision you can fit to 2005 GTI 140 amps...
Just seen this on ebay, a 2013 Mk7 Golf GT!! Someone has already bent one beyond repair:

Part Number seem to be: 06F 903 023 C but most of those on eBay are rammy - what's the brand new cost of these? Are they made by Valeo or Bosch, is either ok?

06f 903 023 C is valeo it went to A,then F on 01/07/2004 then F price £545.04 full retail inc vat
Now from 03/04/2012
06F 903 023 FX ( exchange) price £327.02 full retail inc vat
Originally for 2005 vehicles
Bosch 120A 038 903 018 QX price £319.16 full retail
Also Valeo 90A 030 903 023 J no longer offered

Thanks bud, don't fancy the price of the full retial one much.
Think I'm going to go with one from this guy (unless anyone has had a bad experience or thinks it unwise)
