Title: Fuel Flap!!

Evening all, I noticed today that after my stealer MOT that my fuel cover flap does not close!!
I looks like a retaining clip of some sort is missing.
Has this happened to anyone??

Picture below, ignore the Diesel cap.
1 is where i think a retaining clip should be
2 is the springy thing that pushes fuel flap once lever on drivers door is pulled.
