Title: Starting to hurt when going over bumps- new springs or shocks required?
Post by: Homer on November 03, 2013, 10:07:27 pm
Hi folks, I have noticed recently that when I go over uneven road/bumps etc I can feel it a lot more. So much so that it's actually starting to hurt my back a bit. I don't know much about the suspension side of things so wanted to ask whether I need new springs or shocks?

What is the rough cost of replacing either? Have spent quite a bit on the car recently and don't want to spend a fortune so if it s a cheap fix then that would be ideal. Thanks as always.

Hard to help out with exactly what is at fault as it could be anything from your description. Check your tyre pressures first though!

It would mean new dampers are in order more so than springs. Koni FSD is likely the best choice for comfort and no give in performance. Bistein's I have are very nice, but cost a bit more.
