i know he does, wife has a 1.4 and hers needs better brakes, after all they can still reach over 100 mph and need to slow just as quick as we do, i have many a scary moment in it and often think a nice set of Brembo's/ Ap's is whats needed  :happy2:

TBH i have never found any upgraded pads that make a massive (if any at all) difference like changing discs and calipers, perhaps im just numb

I have been just reading that thread again and 45 quid of the price on there is postage, it is a heavy kit. Also Benny the back brakes are a lot more complicated to fit, i think down to the hand brake.

I thought this was discussed and found to be not necessary in the end.

Jay from what i remember i dont think it was to do with fault codes it was something to do with the timing of the ABS, or TC.  :innocent:

yep i know but i thought it confused the car and send an implausable signal error from the ABS sensor?

it all seems fine to me, even with regular spirited drives with VCDS checks after

Things are ok out here mate! Work is pretty laid back and working everyday helps pass the time away! The Rocket attacks are not great but I am use to them as my last Overseas was Iraq! Plenty of time on my hands to look for bits for my new motor! How are your wheels? They look really good in the pics! I was very impressed with the tyres that's why I have just put 2 on my wife's Touran! I have sourced myself a 19" BBS CH for £26! Just need another 3 now!

Cheers John
