Im off to the South of France on Monday in my ED30. I will be doing approximately 900 miles each way, full loaded - two adults, 2 kids and all the associated holiday gear - so full boot, rear footwells etc!! Speed wise, I will average between 80-100, but more than likely around 80.
I've looked in the book at the pressures and it recommends 2.8bar front and 3.2 bar in the rear, however mine has the Eibach Springs, so the suspension is slightly firmer anyway, so it could become quite crashy with this setting??
Anyone else got a similar setup? And if so what pressure do you run when fully loaded.
Cheers in adavance :happy2:

I'd say you'll be fine with the handbook specs

I concur With Jay with kids in the car i would trust my handbook rather than strangers on tinternet. :happy2:

Understand what you are both saying, but the handbook is for a standard car, and mine isnt!, hence why I am asking strangers on tinternet, who might have the same setup as mine.
Have set the pressures as per handbook and it is very, very firm, probably wont notice it on the sublime french tarmac!
Cheers anyway :happy2:

....
Oli, this bloke on t'internet doesn't think that your mods will make enough significant difference to your car for it to matter, so start off with the fuel flap VW recommended pressures and see what it feels like.
You could always join the Group Buy on a TyreSure Monitor and see how your individual tyres are faring heatwise as well
