Title: Engine/Gearbox mount?

Hi I'm just wondering if any of you have had problems with the mounts on the mk5 and what symptoms you got with them? My car currently knocks when engaging drive,  so when putting foot on the accelerater etc? I'm thinking it's the mount, I recently changed the oil in the gearbox and found no metals shavings in the drained oil so I can only see it being that? If it was my flywheel then it would be rattling like hell but it doesn't rattle at all
