Title: Oil on bottom drivers side intercooler hose.
Post by: smithyc1987 on November 06, 2013, 07:10:48 pm
Could this be a sign of turbo oil seals, or is it normal.
And is this a common issue etc
Any help appreciated,
Easy fix etc

Very normal.  Not turbo seals, just the oil passing through from the breather system.  You wont have a boost leak from the hose.  Only the oil can slowly seep through.  Even replacing the seals wont stop it happening.

Best thing to do is pop the hoses off, clean the seals and smear a bit of LM grease or similar onto the seals and refit.
