Title: Got one at last - 8 years late but glad I did. Plymouth

Remember seeing the mk5 gti on top gear and have wanted one ever since. At last I have one. It needed a bit of work and the forum has already helped significantly with understanding the unexpected "features" of VW design.

So have had the cam belt kit, water pump, cam chain and pulley sorted and can now start to enjoy it:)

It is pretty much the spec that I would have chosen and has heated leather plus arm rest and changer. Love it!

It was a bit of a bleak (but enjoyable)day on Dartmoor. Here is the colour version. Great handling car reminds me of my pug 205 gti a bit just much more accomplished as an all round car....
