Money no object, about £4.5k just for the wheels, I'd have these in 19" x 8.5" all round. Only weigh 7.9kg too (might require a touch of body and hub work though)...

OZ RACING SUPERFORGIATA CL G

That's the same price as the wheels I was looking at, but wanted some other options before.

They're nice but more of a tuning wheel I'd say

Helios are always good and ALWAYS look the nuts.

Some I've looked at getting recently.19"x8.5" VMR 701's or VMR 703's in either the awesome Sunken Treasure or Bronze Burst.

A tease....

Most I've ever spent on wheels was £2k, even then I was a little on edge  :scared:

I've already had a set of hellios dude and the bronze colour looks
Mental

And which rotiforms are they? I'm trying to decide between lhr, tmb, ind-t and sjc.

Those wheels are nice but I personally think there's better for the money.

All depends what your after I guess, those are German engineered Porsche centre lock wheels. Lots of lads think it's cool buying overpriced Rotiforms that are made in a China, each to their own I guess  :chicken:
Title: Re: Wheel suggestions?
Post by: George10 on November 11, 2013, 08:15:48 am
That why I wanted suggestion as it'll be my third set of rotiforms.

The wheels they make are really nice, and it's hard to find something to top that.

You can design a wheel so I may do that, but I'm not the most creative drawer

I think Autostrada Monzas are one of the best wheels on a MK5.

Its a lot but your getting a lot for the money. If I was allowed ANYWHERE near the family savings I'd have those in a heartbeat, good job my wife's in charge off drip feeding me my modding allowance!

Not saying there's anything wrong with this 'scene', each to his own and all that but it's lost on me!  :rolleye:.
For my £5k I would be doing brakes, OZ Ultra's and a coil over kit. Hopefully there'd be a bit left over too.

We're not all the same and it's a better place for it, I can see that.  :happy2:

Everyone's untitled to their opinion

I love the scene. I've already done brakes and air suspension.

Yeah that's it and your right! We have to be respect to these wives. Luckily my wife is very respectful and interested in the cars too, I'm allowed to mod her JCW Mini when it arrives in the new year  :innocent:

I'm pretty keen on twist type wheels,

Like rotiform tmb's, Mercedes alphards and have a set of porsche twist splits for next year :)

3 great wheels listed there. I'm contemplating getting the new rotiform tmb concave with a lip

Seems like you have a lot of choice. Everybody's opinions are different so as long as you like what ever you choose then so be it.
