Title: Repair wire - 000979034E for AUX IN

I've read that these are the cables to use ( 000 979 034 E ) to retrofit AUX IN into my GTI - I just got one and it doesn't look long enough to me.

Is there a longer version or do I need to chop and extend these ?

Or is it possible to buy just the pins so I can make my own loom ?

Cut and extend them. There's a guide from eddienl on this somewhere...
