Title: **2.0T Idling problems!!**
Post by: 1tobybarnes1 on November 16, 2013, 12:46:51 pm
Hi, have recently sold my mk 5 gti and replaced it with a mk2 Audi tt 2.0TFSI. I noticed today that when idling the revs seem to gradually raise from around 850 rpm to 1200 and then drop again. Does anyone have any ideas as to what could be the problem? Many thanks Toby.

Its most likely the PCV valve failed. Pull out the dip stick and see if the engine idle gets worse. If it remains the same then its the PCV failed.
