k so does anyone know of any decent websites selling genuine gti products, things like interior stuff etc? i need some genuine gti matts
also i think one of the alloys needs a refurb.....it seems to have that white worm problem, anyone from the northwest area know of anywhere?
also, if i were to want to vinyl the front splitter thing, is there anyone local to do it ?
all help is appreciated cheers

You may be best trying eBay for the mats or the stealers.
Not too sure if Awesome (http://www.awesome-gti.co.uk/") have anything to suit.
These guys look very professional and know what they are doing The Wheel Specialist (http://www.thewheelspecialist.co.uk/?adw&gclid=CMH_loCO75wCFV8B4wodqEHikA"), a little more expensive but you pay for what you get.
Not sure about any recommendations on the Vinyl.

If your in leeds area, then Racoon will be your best bet :happy2:

yeah good point mate, im in bradford so leeds aint that far, i really want to make sure i have a dealer that will look after the car if i bring it in for service, god forbid any technical problems etc
who did you use edition 30?
-
Been to Awesome and they have a really good set up there, they can also look after your car from what I understand. Bit of travelling though over Manchester way.
If yournot bothered about a full VWservice history, I would look up the local VAG specialists.
-
so is awsome like an official vw company? i can get the car serviced etc with them? they seem to have alot of additional stuff im intrested in too
im quiet intrested in this as a first addition.......

They are a performance tuning type of company and as far as im aware they do service cars aswel. These are VAG specialists (not officially a part of VW).
Never heard of that intake. Carbonio is a popular choice but the better intakes are made by DBILAS, ITG and Forge...the twintakes are a tasty piece of kit...I understand they creat alot of Turbo chatter and sounds awesome.
Few threads about the intakes...

just been going through the service book......its had 2 services in 27k miles now and there aint no big 20k service, should i be concerned? the dealership seem preety sound so i dont doubt them and the car belonged to one of their employees.....got it from redline racing in harrogate. it seems to be driving perfectly fine , i think im just getting paranoid lol only thing is i am a total newbie learning as i go along but i reckon it should fine

40 k is the big one :happy2:. That envolves alot more , and will be a steeper service bill then normal.

That CAI is not suitable for the 2.0TFSI engine your GTI has. That's for the older 1.8T block.

oooops, cheers mate, i think im going to start with the tyres before anything else, this dealership is taking the piss, the car has one or two surprises i did not want to get .....!
