First of all I wish all Blockbuster staff the best following news that all stores are likely to close.
It might be an old fashioned way of watching films, but we often enjoyed picking up a chart blueray at the weekend. Only watch probably 2 a month.
What is the alternative now? I like the idea of some kind of on demand service, as have a smart TV, but what is best for the latest films? Heard that the likes of Netflix don't have recently released films.
Any thoughts much appreciated.
Cheers

Or there is always LoveFilm or Blinkbox by Tesco

Thanks. I get it...... but do LoveFilm and Blinkbox have the latest releases, and have apps to watch on a Samsung TV?

From what I've heard they both have them up to stream at the same time they are released on DVD. Both also have apps on Smart Tvs too :happy2:.

Cheers guys, think I might give Blinkbox a go, as it is non subscription. I assume you can get HD, assuming the internet connection is adequate?

apple tv.
Right, should have considered your post before.....
It seems that Blinkbox does not stream HD to TV's yet, so followed your advice and went for the Apple TV box. Apparently iTunes gets the latest films, and they will be in HD! Just need to wait for my fibre upgrade in 2 weeks!
