Anyone got any ideas what it would cost to supply and fit the rear view camera to the missus 2005 Gti with the RNS510?
Looking at the VW badge based one (from the MK6?).

Yeah I was thinking it was at least that sort of price. Think I'll just go with the Cobra sensors which are around 200 quid fitted!!

Get a second hand one. They pop up from time to time. There is a thread on here I read the other day telling you how to fit one including all the wires and what you need. A very good write up and the lad said it was not that hard to do. If I go down that route would follow his guide tbf

Iv got the bumper version, was £140 in total. The camera was only £45 off ebay. I fitted it myself which was really easy.

surely you can get sensors for less

Very true Eddie - I think they are about about £80 quid, but then I need to colour code them, and drill the bumper etc which I don't fancy doing too much!
In fairness I did do it on my old Focus ST and it wasn't too bad a job but I think this time I'll let someone else do the hard work :signLOL:
Most of the places I found digging around the net are around 200-240 ish, but found a place local who do them all the time, and just fitted them to a MK6 golf as they sent me pics.

Badge RVC are expensive, i'd go for the bumper one imo.
