Anyone give me some "guesstimations" on how much l should be looking at to get my rear valance colour coded? Never had anything done before, so want to make sure lm not going to get my pants pulled down on the price. :booty:
Thanks.

I had lower rear bumper side skirts and front splitter all smoothed and painted for £350
-
Just had my front done for £100 and rear was £65
sent using my own fingers

Lots of threads on this - have a search for 'to colour code' and you will find my info about colour coding experience

If you remove the rear valance yourself you will save cash. It's apparently easy job. Couple of torx screws each side and it pops off. This way you can still use your car while it's there. Give it a clean first too with soapy water. Both sides. There are a few ways they will prep it but somewhere between £65-100 you should be aiming for

I removed the rear valance on Friday.
Given my experience and it was 4c outside.
I unclipped the sides first and slowly made my way to the number plate.
It got stuck one side so i got a small flat blade screw driver and just pushed
the clips down a little to unclip them.
When i fitted the new gti rear valance it was easier than removing, i cleaned it first
and used some GT85 spray.
Give you an idea on cost I rubbed down the valance myself and took it to a spary
shop, They sprayd plasic primer first and then spayed High build primer and then
the colour (LA7T) and then clear coat to finish it off.
At a cost of £65.
I could have bought the spays at halfords and done it myself but after i thought about It.
It more likely would have cost more.
