Title: Some shots of my applied vinyl to the outside paintwork....
Post by: VC on September 14, 2009, 06:43:18 pm: I've had this on now for a couple of weeks, got it ready for the Cornwall Jamboree and it went down very well. :smiley:

It's 'Ice White Gloss' and makes an amazing contrast on the VW Candy paint - makes the Candy look Ivory coloured, the plan was for ghost graphics but the difference appealed too much for me to change it so it stayed.

There is further detailing when you get closer, above the tails, along the roof line etc with the web address...hard to see on these shots though as they were done via iPhone

these will be coming off soon to make way for another design, so before i remove them i thought i'd share here rather than tucking the photo's away on the project thread for now

i took a fair few shots, and mrs cherry happened to be with me, i asked her to either come stand with me or duck down

she ducked down....but kept randomly popping back up... with her top up and baps out :grin: :notworthy:

god bless her :innocent:

...like i said..deserted car parks :grin:

But.

Needs moar white balance.

and definitely needs moar Mrs Cherry.

Sex restrictions? Buy some rope, it works wonders.

Ghosting is class, saw it done really well in flame form on a Beetle years ago (albiet in tinted lacquer)

I think that white vinyl chequer looks uber-cooool and very subtle, VC - Big thumbs up from me.

BUT, tbh I don't like that heavy black bra - It's a tad dominatrix! It's begging for chains to be attached.

Can't wait to see the next design though

Kudos! Excellent vinyl work... are you marketing the work into a DIY kit for group sale on the site, copyrighted VC of course? Will it come with one or two shades lighter than the standard GTI body paint other than white (say red, or blue, black etc.)?

On the restrictions, one would have thought that the back seat would deem adequately restrictive and welcoming. Tweaks to the suspensions will also help. :wink:
