Title: do i go stage 3
Post by: Andy on November 25, 2013, 08:25:01 pm
my gttdi is running a stage 2 hybrid turbo at 224bhp but can go stage 3 which will be between 240 and 250+bhp at a cost of £700 but the biggest cost will be the clutch and the injectors might need changing which knocks the price to nearly 3k but in my mind its not worth it .We all know what its like when you get an idea in your head :signLOL:

Clutch will eventually need doing...so go stage 3 when that comes about.

Or

Mtfu and do it, what's £700 in the grand scheme of things.

Or

What will swmbo say?

the better half will want 3k to spend on shoes :signLOL:
The trouble is its not just the clutch its the injectors as well as I was told the oem ones are good up till 230bhp

If you need to spend 3k then I would say its way too much mate but each to his own, I know someone who has spent 20k on mods...

My face hurts reading this thread. I'm going from 360bhp ko4'd gti to a 1.6tdi 110bhp....and hoping a stage1 map will keep me happy

Your moaning about power and you have 100bhp more!  :scared:
