Hi folks. I'm new to the VW scene but I'm seriously considering getting a mk5 GTi/edition 30 with DSG in the near future as we have a little one on the way and need a 5 door. I currently have a Corsa VXR  Nurburgring Edition which I will be sad to see go but needs must I guess. Any info on what to look out for when buying or any other info would be great. Anyone else round the Blackpool area?

haven't got a ed30   but a excellent choice if you get your self one bought

Welcome, i don't have much experience of the corsa vxr nur but you cant go much wrong if you get a good Ed30

Its a bit more of a mature car imo

Thats what I'm thinking. Go for something a bit more mature now that I can still have fun in when I want. Is reliability an issue with the standard GTi or ed30? Or are they pretty solid?
