Title: CD Player not working - RCD 510 Help Please!

Put my RCD510 DAB in my car this afternoon and the cd player doesn't want to accept a cd, the head unit seems to want to access a cd changer and comes up with the message "please wait" I dont have a cd changer in my car but I assume the last car it was in did, is there anything I can do or is the head unit broken?

was it posted?

if the loading tray isn't secured by pressing the locking buttons. that could be your problem

It was posted, it was well packed in fairness but do you think that could be the problem, is there anything I can do about it?

you might be able to repair it, but you will need to open it up
