Title: Poor radio signal - intermittent.
Post by: warby on November 30, 2013, 09:55:38 pm: I have intermittent poor signal in the edition, the gti signal was always rock solid. (It had a shark fin, the edition has a "normal aerial" with stubby thing screwed into it.

I have found the following codes on my snap on scanner for the radio.

What do I need to buy / do / have done?

It must've had an aftermarket head unit at some point as it has amp cables to the boot.

I would remove the head unit and see what's connected for the aerial - possibly cables chopped to suit an after market system rather than fakra.
