Title: VW fuel additive G17

Has anybody used this or is it only for diesels? Part number G-001-770-A2.

My understanding is this is a fuel system cleaner for petrol vehicles.  I've not used it yet but have 3 'doses' on order at my local TPS.  Apparently its on back order - probably due to the letter/article in the current Volkswagen Driver magazine where a reader with an Edition 30 found it helped with a smoother idle and power delivery through the rev range.

does this actually work and is it worth the money? I hate being specticle but sometimes it can be a placebo affect.

You can use 10oz to 12oz per tank of white spirits...that is like using three cans of BG44K(30% spirits per can) but less coin for a gallon of it  :happy2:
