Hi
Just thought i'd share this here in case anyone was in the market for an xmas pressie.
on http://www.play.com/stores/SpencerMann/listing/884264243 (http://www.play.com/stores/SpencerMann/listing/884264243) (they are a play.com merchant) they are doing the ipad Air 16gb in grey for £329 (definately the cheapest i've seen it new). its also advertised on the play.com main site.
I've ordered one today and had my dispatch confirmation, and i've read the feedback from other buyers and it looks legit (paid by CC so i'm covered if anything goes wrong)
Hot UK Deals wouldnt accept the post as the tradeseller does not meet their criteria or something, but it looks legit. Its only avialable for the next 6 hours or so.
happy shopping!

whats the catch? £70 off seems too good to be true for a new product.
-
I suspect non UK stock HOWEVER as Apple offer international warranty on their products you will still be covered :)
-
Yeah, I was wondering what the catch is. They're supposed to be new and sealed, and the feedback seems to be very good (I read through all of them for any issues). Varying delivery times (between 3 to 9 days) but that's inline with what is advertised.
They've been a partner of Play / Rakutan since the beginning of last year so it looks ok. I paid by credit card, so have coverage if things go south.
My current ipad was from Canada (bought on business) and there were no issues when the home button went a bit funny.
Fingers crossed eh?

Well it arrived today so very well done on the delivery! Probably go as far to say better than an apple delivery.
It was brand new, sealed in perfect condition, WITH A UK PLUG! So looks like domestic stock. All in all a good buy with £70 off retail!
-
Good one! They are now selling at £399 so you did well.
-
That's a great price it's always a head ache to get apple products with money off
-
Gone back up to £399 now, looks like you got lucky and yourself a good deal!
