We are trying to get some interest into a group buy on a loba/Sachs clutch
Would you be up for it?

Thanks

This might be of interest to you. What about the Helix one with the OEM DMF? Had one fitted last week at AKS Tuning, great pedal feel and great price too. Alex was/is offering a Group Buy price......

Thanks for the link but I had a helix with dmf in my s3 and it only lasted 6 months until it slip like fxxk
That's why I want to go do the Sachs and loba smf route this time ( current car 2010 golf r)
Thanks again

Going SMF doesn't mean it will wear slower though. What stage is the car at? Ideally you would need a nice twin plate setup which will last the longest.

My 8p s3 was stage 2+
It's not the flywheel that's my issue it the helix clutch plate.
My golf r is stage 2+ and the standard clutch has lasted longer on a stage 2+ car than the helix did, actually twice as long and it's still going at the moment .

Odd. It must have been fitted back to front, or the wrong plate as the S3 had either the SACHS or LUK flywheel and if the wrong plate went in it didn't last long.
I have stage 2 + cars that have done 30K plus on the same setup.
The Helix is a modded SACHS plate too. Guess you were unlucky.
