Cheers mate but what else is needed? Straight bolt on or do I need R/S3/R32 brake lines or can I run my current 1's.

Are they the same weight!? As they seem lighter to me, some how... I used to have 2006 R32 brakes which I sold, and thought they "seemed" heavier...

They are the same. Ran them two kits ago on the vRS. Got another set for the wife's car. The casting on the carrier is slightly different to the r32/cupra carrier.
You can mate them up to the TTS discs to save a couple of kilos per side over the r32 discs.

As previously confirmed they are the same set up as the R32/S3. I've been running S3 fronts on my vRS for a couple of years and the braking over the standard set up is phenomenal, not to mention aesthetically they look superb. :happy2:

Yeah they do fit mate :happy2: I've got them on my car, but bad to get passat brake lines for some reason

The lines need to be longer.

Thanks for confirming.

So my Hel braided brake lines I ordered 2 weeks ago will be useless or can they be made to fit mate?
-
As long as the lines are for the R32 calipers then they will fit.
-
I had them on mine and had to change them mate.
Mines diesel so may be different. The two brake lines I bought were £60 for the pair

why did you need to change them?
-
The brake lines which came with the brakes didn't fit my car so had to get new ones

Did your calipers come with the rigid pipe attached on the rear, where the OEM flexi hose connects?

Do they fit the S3 calpiers ok aswell Alex? You don't happen to know the part number by any chance do you?

I don't think so. That's what I had to do anyway, but the brake lines which came with the brakes looked after market.
