Title: Fitting rear door quarter glass on 5dr?
Post by: Itguy on December 08, 2013, 09:12:10 am
Hi all

Anyone know how to do this? Is it easy?

For some reason my passenger side rear door has a green glass panel in it when the rest of the car has blue glass (as it should).

Cheers

Early mk5 had blue tint later changed to green, most likely yours had been smashed and replaced.

I've never done it on the rear (have a 3 door)... There's a how to somewhere....

It's quite easy to do but you have to partly remove the outer skin due to there being a torx screw  whind it that you need to remove to allow the window guide bar to be removed. Once the metal bar is moved it's just a case of slotting the rear vent in
