Price depends on if you use new or old parts plus around 10 hours labour.

Id say that the realistic maximum.

On a ramp removing the exhaust and turbo is easy.  No more than an hour IMO.  Installing the DV relocation/DV/cable and new IC/TB pipe is fiddly but id imagine an hour would be sufficient.  Injectors a little more fiddly maybe 1-2 hours.

seeing i had to help install an APR RFD over the weekend.
It's about 4-6 hours to remove front of car and pull intake manifold off.

10 hours are pretty skeptical really.

Come down and prove it Sy. I will pay you 100 quid an hour if you can do a turbo swap in an hour.

It's around 4 to swap the turbo, 3 for injectors inc cleaning the intakes and another couple fitting all the other bits and bobs.  Then you have to hope that it all comes apart without and studs etc snapping.

Lol,  cool your jets!!

not done a turbo swap but have changed DV and exhaust on the Octavia when I was in germany on our workshop ramp.  Seemed a simple enough job from what i remember when looking at it.  That said, you have the experience, i dont, so i will stand down  :innocent:

Those tea breaks take up some time dont they

Its the chatting to customers all day that takes up the time

And the forum time!

Its not too bad getting the turbo off the head, but the challenge is getting it out the gap.  Has to come out the bottom.  I leave the subframe on, but disconnect the driveshaft from the box.  One arm holding the turbo and the other on the shaft .

Alternatively take it to APR and it will be 6 months at least.  :popcornsoda:

I have pretty much everything fitted from audi s3's, r8's and rs4's so just need to swap the turbo
