Im 99% sure this is an FSI engine (the fact it has 'FSI' is massive letters on the cowl is a giveaway...), but it's from an 2008 golf, which I thought had TSI engines?

All Mk5 gtis in the UK came with the FSI engine. Only in North America did the TSI engine appear in the later Mk5s'. :smiley:

That's a shame, I'd heard the TSI was preferable over the previous FSI (better mileage, cambelt to camchain, no cam follower issues) etc
Never mind, thought i'd found the one, but i'll keep looking ! :sad1:,

Tsi has its issues too.
