Title: Kenwood DnX520bvt poor radio signal was fine with rcd300 what could it be

As above guys any ideas radio reception is rubbish now fitted new Kenwood any ideas

You likely need a powered amplifier, they are under a tenner on ebay. Forgot the part number but if you search on ebay you'll see some variants.

You either need

http://www.roadradio.com/wiring-fascia-adaptors/PC5-136/5973/

or

http://www.roadradio.com/wiring-fascia-adaptors/CT27AA25/5975/

depending on whether your existing aerial connection is a single or twin fakra.  Connect the blue with to a 12v+ power source and the aerial amplifier will have power and you'll get a decent signal.

There was two options. A plug on back of stereo has two inputs looks like it didn't match harness but there is one plug from original harness that goes into it so get the reception hope this helps I'll try get a pick of mine

Tried both adaptors above no improvement at all could do with pick mate if you can
