Stumbled across this, Oh my
-
I'd get a lower mileage one and get one x5 wheels n coilovers myself.
But I do agree :driver:
-
^ Yea miles would be a put off for me. But then saying that it is a BMW so would probably go on for time!
I'm not looking to buy one or anything was just browsing & wow! cosmetically they've nailed it I think!
-
I'd happily have a Z4 tucked away for the Summer (3.2 preferably), can just see that parked outside.. roof down, ready for a blast into the hills. :happy2:
-
That is nice, those wheels suit the body styling perfectly. Chris Bangle's flame-surfaced finest!
-
100k miles puts you off wtf :stupid: people should pull the clocks out of cars and judge a car on how well its been looked after i.e. bills and history
-
Being a BMW, no 100k probably wouldnt put me off, as stated.
I wouldnt buy a peugeot on 100k regardless of bills and how it looks as the engines simply arent made to the same standards as dubs for example.
-
I think it looks the part and if it drives like it looks, it seems to be a lot of car for the money!
As for if I would buy it, that's a no no. Would rather not have the issue of having a weekend toy and put the loot towards a better everyday vehicle.
-
well i have a clio 172 phase 1 with something silly on it like 150k and its got bills for everything and every stamp in the book and the engine is very strong the only wrong with it at the mo is it needs a new clutch but looking at the bills its only ever had 1 in its life so don't think thats bad, granted it was a silly cheap car but just goes to show if you look after a car it will look after you

Would nt say that , read the thread about cam chains , ive owned a z4 and the 2.5 is nt with out its problems , modern german cars are not what they were imo

Cars in general are a pain in the ass! lol

All cars are a mine field... you get some gooden's and badden's in my experience... although, having said that, some manufacturers do suffer recurring problems in certain areas. TBH, I'm surprised how many different problems I've had with the Golf over supposedly lesser brands such as Rover / Saab / Ford... it's all marketing crap imho.

Love the z4 reckon they are really good value. If only there were enough seats for the kids!

Had the 3.0, it was awful. Terrible handling and suspension even when changed to non run flats. Tramlined like a bitch and the wheels rotted. Wife wouldn't drive it. Great spec and pokey though.
Got an s2000 now which is by a large margin a much nicer car to drive, much more of a drivers car and probably about as quick. Doesn't have anywhere near the spec of a Z but it doesn't matter!

Best photography I've seen on a car advert.

Personally I'd rather Spend an extra few 1000 and get a lower mileage car, which in turn will generally be newer.
There's a higher chance IMO of something to break or wear out on a higher mileage car than the lower mileage one.

Most bugs get found out I the first 50k on most new cars so high miles does not put me off but who cares any way :signLOL:
