Title: Engine cover grommets etc
Post by: Baz300 on December 17, 2013, 11:58:52 am: When putting my standard air box today I seem to have lost 2 of the rubber bungs that fit into the rear and one of the posts that the rubber bungs sit into has also gone missing

So does anyone know the part nos for both the rubber bungs and the posts/bolts?

And does anyone have a pic handy of the engine without the engine cover?

It's the post at the front left that's missing so I want to see where is should go

Those ball mounts seem very expensive. :laugh:

I think you missed the sarcasm in my previous post as you priced the ball mounts at £718

Vw don't have them in stock here and I won't get into them until after Xmas.

I have emailed rainworth Skoda.

After seeing that pic I can remember what happened to the missing peg.

The support it sits on had vibrated free with having an induction kit fitted and I put it somewhere safe, so safe I have forgotten where it is.
