Title: Abs ring

Hi Guys, First post on my new 2005 Gti.

Quick summary- ABS/EPC/ESP light on the dash. I know the rear brakes are nearly done so I changed them yesterday and thought i'd take a look at the abs sensor too. Went looking for it and all I could find was what looked liked the corroded leftovers of the ring itself.

Surely this can't be normal? New rear bearing needed?

On the mkv ring is built into the bearing - all I see is what looks like a ABS sensor lining up to the bearing.

Do a search as there's a few members who've undertaken such repairs lately.
