Bought my last set from these people

http://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/carwipers

Find you car on their site , think they were about £30 for both fronts and rear

Some cars are 937's others are 980's think the change was around mid 2007

Yep, either the Bosch Aerotwin from eurocarparts with offer code or OEM from a dealer. Won't go wrong with either of them  :happy2:

After three failed attempts trying to get the correct ones from eurocarparts I thought I would try my local Skoda dealership. Both front aero wipers for £27 inc vat, so about £6 cheaper than ECP which is a result!

Yeah I found ECP site crap at finding the correct bosch wiper numbers, even phoned them up & was still confused on what front set I needed  :rolleye:
Got the bosch rear one from ECP ebay for £7.81 delivered, result.

I always just buy genuine ones from the dealer or genuine off ebay, find they are usually the best....

They get replaced every year in the autumn.  I just buy whatever's easiest - internet, or Halfords if I'm passing.

I guess that qualifies as one of the least helpful reviews on this site - sorry.

Was toying with OEM from the dealer, but my rear wiper from there was crap from the off. It has always juddered and squeaked since it was brand new. Is that usual for the Golf?

It seems most people are using the bosch aerotwin. I am using those too, however my new ones are a little different. I used to have OEM ones from the dealer, which means bosch just without the logo and got the new ones in October, online for about 30€.

The spoiler design is different in these even though i'm convinced they are genuine. In the old ones the spoiler was offset towards the back (upper side) so as to be more aerodynamic. In the new ones, the spoiler is right in the center and less rounded/more angular than the previous ones. The clip is also different, those are called multi-clips. I like them less because the clip is a little bulkier comparing to the previous ones in order to accommodate more connectors. Its funny i even noticed it but i did, and then it started bothering me, lol. Wondering if anyone else has had the same experience.

I change mine once a year, seeing this thread yesterday had reminded me to change them so I popped into the VW Stealers and £39.54 later for the front and back blades all's good.

No wonder they're called the Stealers!!

HaHa, sorry chaps.

I have enquired about a GB but Im not sure what the response will be anyway, its probably abit cheeky really as I get them at such a good price but he can only say no.

Well - unless he decides I'm a cheeky barstewards and decides never to give me good rates again  :sad1:

Just bought a second set (937s) for Mrs P's A3. Good prices and quick delivery, but I've had no feedback from them yet, so they won't be getting any from me until they do! I'm a firm believer that the seller should always go first.

^ They may as well these days (seller leaving FB first) as they can't leave anything but good feedback, used to be different though didn't it.
