Can anyone with VAG COM help me with fitting cruise around slough?

Not perfectly local but Hedge has VCDS if you're willing to travel.

Failing that look at the list of owners in the VCDS forum.

Be careful with the steering controller when you remove it.  You'll likely get a steering wheel warning on the dash when you put it back together, just drive a few yards in a straight line and it will clear.

Assuming it's a GTi then it's ECU Long Coding and Steering Controller if it's a TDi then it's ECU login (11463) and Steering Controller.
