Title: wheel scrub on full lock?

have had a little search on the forum but couldn't find anything?

on full lock when turning i feel /hear a scrubbing from the outside wheel? any advise on what it could be?

its been a long time since i have owned a FWD car,the only time i have felt something simler was when i had a full LSD fitted to a RWD car ( scrb felt from the rear)

Mk5 golf steering rags can be noisy. Is that just sometimes im taking. There were some recalls in germany. However even a new ones were making some noises intermmitantly. :driver:

Its not a noise from the rack as such. Its the wheel tyre scrubbing on full lock? Like it could be a wheel aligment issue?
