anyone got any postcodes for some industrial back grounds for some photos around Sheffield/rotherham way?

No mate I can't seem to find the right place and the weather doesn't help at the moment as I can't seem to get the right kinda shots!? Doesn't help I'm a novice lol

Magna carpark is a good backdrop. It has a few industrial bits in it too. Similarly the Kelham Island carpark is good.

There's a road just behind the Magna estate that has some nice bright lights on. Great for some night shots.

He's got loads of good locations around Sheffield/Chesterfield.

The best backdrop in Sheffield is at Bramall Lane in the south stand car park, right between the statues of Joe Shaw and Derek Dooley. I realise that its not what your looking for but think how good that will look!

I was born in Rotherham, Lived in Sheffield(Gleadless/Beighton) until I was about 10 then moved to Clowne in Chesterfield. Been here ever since. Sheffield is my spiritual home and Sheffield United are my team. Can we start a MK5GTI Blades club? Down for that.

Thanks man! The HU install went surprisingly well, until I forgot to wire the amplifier for the aerial. I found out after moving about 10 meters and lost all my signal. Dronny bypass going from Sheffield to Chesterfield down that hill is wayyyyyy too much fun. I used to work with a guy who was always talking about lowdown. Tim he was called, had a black polo gti. MK2 maybe?

I'm sure i spotted you a few weeks back M1 northbound just past Jnc32. Its was hammering it down though so couldn't make out the plate.

Four grey golf R's around Sheffield. All modified and three have same alloys as mine! Could have been me though. :smiley:
