Title: Any ideas why cutting out??

My friend has just bought a mk5 Gti dsg, we're having a running problem, when you come to pull off in drive it just goes to cut out then when it does it's hard to restart, we've relaxed the usual things like PVC diverter valve as there just common things to do, had vagcom on but no codes, took the high pressure pump out to replace fuel pump follower and there was small amount of fuel in there, so we have tryed different high pressure pump and regulator but still no difference, any ideas?

There's just been a recall on the dsg box have you read into that.
