Just had the bottom passenger side intercooler pipe blow off and snap the plastic , any one have a step by step guide to replacing the pipe ( do I need to replace the hole intercooler ?) is it a diy job and how much ? It's a face lift model gt tdi 140, 56 plate . Also how does this happen? Thankyou all :happy2:

As long as the intercooler isn't damaged, which is should be, replacing the pipe shouldn't be that difficult.
Do you have any photos of the damage?

No pics as awkward to get to at mo ! But when I took the plastic sum cover off I found a piece of round black plastic which has snapped in half off the intercooler !!! , any ideas how I go about taking the intercooler off , DIY? Cost ? Thanks
