Title: poor starting tdi sport 170

i am having a problem  starting car in the mornings ,  it always starts but not very cleanly , yesterday morning car frosted over and it took 3 turns of the key , do you reckon glow plugs , cannot think of anything else , will start perfect the rest of the day

Cold starts can be abit of a common problem on these and a pig to track down. Has it only just started to do it? If so it could be glow plugs like you say. These can be checked using a multimeter.

Cam timing could also cause this but you'd need access to VCDS to check.
