Title: has my car been mapped? goes to 7000rpm?
Post by: D8MOA on December 27, 2013, 11:39:10 pm
may be a silly question BUT my rev counter shows the redline to be 6500rpm but mine goes to 7000rpm before hitting the limit?

i know from being an 18 year old (13 years ago!!!) driving chavtastic cars that the redline was increased slightly to get a little more power when mapping but is that the case with the ed30 golf?

i hope it hasn't got a stage one as i deff need more power

yeah you wouldnt feel you need more power if it was mapped unless youve had some pritty quick cars in the past?

-hawkeye 2.5 impreza

And the  best was i brought fensports corolla off them ;-) youtube fensport corolla and you will see the beast

But all cars feel slow to me nowdays as i have owned 1000cc sports bikes for ths last 6 years
