Apologies if this is the wrong area but....
Just had some Sealey 2000 2 tonne ramps bought for me and notice that the max width is 200mm and my tyres are 225mm
Has anyone used these ramps or recommend an alternative set?
Thanks

My ramps are narrower than the tyres. I just centre them as best I can and have never had a problem. You will probably need a couple of small pieces of wood to get the car started on the ramps without catching the front splitter.

Ah that's good to know, thanks.
Didn't really want to try them then not be able to take then back.
Have a thermostat, DVD valve and gearbox oil to change so thought I may as well get some!

Or even a Diverter Valve reckon even I can change a DVD!

2 things to be aware of when using car ramps.
Be very careful when you drive up onto them, as you can rip them out from underneath you as you drive up.
Fluid levels will not be true if the rear of the car is on the floor still.

Cheers g40will they did slide out a couple of times and needed a couple of small bits of wood to get the splitter up. Managed it in the end.
All in all though a bit of a faff really.
I think I will get a trolly jack to lift the ramps underneath each side then I can leave the jack just below the height of the car on ramps for extra security.
