Hi everyone

Just thought I'd say hello and post a couple of pics of the latest addition to my Vw Port Folio.  :happy2:

The cars pretty well equipt with the exception of SATNAV, but I couldn't fault the condition of the car so just had to bite the bullet and dive back in.

I've been away from the Vw scene for about 5 years and have really missed it, so the Cooper S Works had to go. I've owned 6 Mk2's including 3 Edition 1 G60's and a Golf Raylle. Plus a Mk3 VR6 Highline in Dusty Mauve and a Silver Mk 1, small light model.

If this car tunrs out to be anywhere near as good as the Pearl Grey G60 Edition One I owned, I'll be a very happy man!!!  :jumping:

I've got a few cosmetic mods to do first, hopefully before Christmas, like the Edition 30 front lip spoiler and colour coded side skirts and rear bumper. Black badges, carbon mirrors and front grill, R32 Rear lights and Detroit style Monza 2's.

Then hopefully after I've recovered from the Festive hangovers   :drinking: :drinking: :drinking::sick: the tuning mods will start. :driver:

These cars were made to be fettled with !!!!!!!! :party:

Not even had the car a week and have already made my first cosmetic purchase, a full set of original R32 rear clusters for 65 squid off ebay, (not sure if that was a good, bad or average price for second hand units but they are minters). And Of course i've obviously purchased the No 1 must have item for any Mk5 Gti, a Pair of Forum Stickers  :jumping:

I'm looking at getting the rims possibly refurbed soon in Satin Black, but I've seen a set of BBS CH's in black that have taken my fancy?? Can't decide yet? What do you guy's think, as the only thong putting my off the CH's is that they are getting a bit common... :sleepy:

Do any of you live local or know of any meets etc, i'm about 10 mins from Heathrow / Staines Massive

DOMT .....  The mod train has been boarded!!!! :wink:

I'd go with the Monza's re-furbed in a MK6 stylee as I can personnaly vouch for the fact they look the shiz!

Hi guys
Just thought I'd give you a quick update on the car.

Recently purchased a set of detroits and Eibach Pro-Kit which will be getting fitted hopefully this weekend. :driver:

I've had a BSH Catch Can, Carbonio, Forge DV, Satin Black wing mirror covers and smoked Inpro indicators ready to fit for a few months, (certain personal issues have prevented me from either having the time or patience to fit these!!). :pomppomp: :fighting:

I've just bought an Edition30 rear bumper and once I've managed to source the (rare as hens teeth) Ed30 front lip spoiler, I'm going to get the whole car colour coded!!
