Hi guys
How long should it take to install a Autotec hpfp and a cam follower lobe.
Is it a very complicated job.
Thanks in advance
Happy new year to all.

An hour?

"Camshaft follower lobe"
Do you mean the follower or the camshaft lobe?
A decent mechanic should be able to do the follower and pump in 30 mins.
-
an hourish.. but take your time if your doing it yourself and follow the instructions carefully.. you should recive some with the autotech hpfp
-
Just don't refit the top fuel pump sensor as per the instructions. Take a pic of its position first.

Has the hpfp already got the Autotech internals fitted?

Pretty straight forward job. Just be sensible and keep work area as clean as possible.

Update
I have had the Autotech hpfp and camshaft follower lobe changed,
I had some issues with uneven acceleration and lagging power, which seem to have been resolved, The car generally seems more responsive and smoother.
The old follower lobe that came out seems to have bulged outwards. The new one had a flat base.
Hoping car stays as it is.
Are there any major issues to look out for regarding using Autotch hpfp's.
Thanks for all your comments and advice.

Was it with the banjo bolt? I am about to change mine and it looks kinda scary:/

Sorry for late reply. I chickened out and got a mechanic to do mine.
